Hi I am Dr Vivek Gupta and I am the CEO of the Caring and Leading Group and I am also a registered GP working in the NHS. I studied medicine at University College London, achieving further BSc in Psychology. Following medical school, I completed my GP training working through various rotiations with particular emphasis in Care of the Elderly and Psychiatry. I also achieved a distinction in a medical education degree (PGCERT) through the Royal College of Physicians/University College London and an online essentials MBA course through the London School of Economics.

I began to support my father with the family business over the past 10 years and have taken on a much more active role over the past 5 years. Having grown up and worked in all different areas of healthcare- from hospital settings to community settings and now as a GP, I believe I have a unique viewpoint in understanding the challenges but also the opportunities in social care.

I feel privileged that we are able to support and care for some of the most vulnerable members of our society. I passionately believe we have an opportunity to enhance the quality of life of our residents by providing the best care that one would expect from a family member whilst simultaneously working tirelessly to adopt best practice and the latest innovations. It is these values that underpin the Caring and Leading Mission Statement which I have set out to create and establish.

We are “Caring” as a family member would provide care and we are “Leading” as we strive to adopt the best research and practice into our services, to give the best outcomes to your loved one.
