I am an experienced estates and maintenance professional with over 10 years working in the care sector. I’ve built a strong track record of maintaining high standards across care home environments, with a focus on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. My approach combines hands-on expertise with a strategic mindset, ensuring that estates are not only well-maintained but also support the comfort and dignity of residents.

I began my career in maintenance at Akari Care, where I gained valuable experience in day-to-day repair work, compliance checks, and supporting care staff with responsive solutions. I then took on the role of Estates Officer, overseeing maintenance across 14 homes over a 5-year period. In this role, I developed strong skills in coordinating contractors, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading teams to deliver consistent standards across multiple sites. Most recently, I served as Maintenance Manager for Crown Care, where I led on-site to contribute to long-term estates planning and improvement projects.

I bring a solid understanding of the specific demands of care environments, including health and safety regulations, infection control, and CQC expectations. I’m highly organised, calm under pressure, and committed to creating safe, well-run spaces that support both residents and staff.
