“My mother received respite care at Talbot House in June 2023 and experienced a positive and enjoyable stay at the home. Upon arrival the staff made my mother welcome, introducing her to various residents and carers. The check-in process was smooth and handled professionally and all my questions were answered clearly.
During her week at Talbot House, my mother enjoyed the various activities organised and she was very complimentary about the food! Given her stay coincided with nice weather in Staffordshire, my mother loved the fact that she was able to spend time in the lovely garden, something she had not experienced for a long time.
Her care needs were met with dignity and gentleness and the staff were always attentive. My interactions with the team at Talbot House were always friendly, considerate and helpful – I cannot speak highly enough of them.
Overall, the care was of a high quality and I would have no hesitation in using Talbot House again if required.”

The home on my visits always looks really clean, their dining room experience is lovely to see table clothes and wine glasses.
The staff always ensure the residents look well dressed and the care is given with dignity. The food always looks good and the residents can choose what to have both at lunchtime and at tea time.
The home has a friendly environment. My mum is well looked after by the whole team.

Margaret House
My mum has been a resident at Margaret House for a couple of years now.
The staff are wonderful and go above and beyond with the care they provide to our mum.
We as a family, have total peace of mind when we leave there.
Sadly our mum is now on end-of-life care and they have put everything in place to support my mum and us as a family.
hey treat my mum as if she were theirs.
Margaret House is a superb care home with an exceptional level of care provided to all residents.
I can’t thank them enough for all their care and support in these difficult days to come.

Absolutely lovely staff, warm, considerate, attentive and genuine. I had to place my loved one here for two weeks and felt reassured from the very start with all the smiling faces. They ask many questions before accepting any new resident, even on a short-term basis, which l liked. Loved the atmosphere saying “hi” to staff and residents walking around the building, which is old but warm and safe. One of the nurses has had her own Mum living there for years, which speaks volumes about the quality of care on offer. Would not hesitate to repeat the visit if necessary. No hesitation in giving this one ten out of ten!
